How to keep your AI chats private (Luna privacy setup)
Luna is private by design: no public profile, no feed, no other users seeing your conversations. Your practical exposure is your own lock screen, so tune notification previews, use Face ID, and know that full data deletion is two taps away in Settings.
What Luna does by default
There is no social layer: nobody can find you, follow you, or see what you and your companion talk about. Conversations are processed to generate replies and maintain memory, not sold, and not shown to anyone. Purchases run through Apple, so Luna never sees card numbers. The full detail lives in the privacy policy, in actual English rather than legalese.
The settings that matter in real life
Realistically, AI-chat privacy leaks happen on lock screens, not servers. Three iPhone settings close the gap:
- Notification previews: Settings, Notifications, Luna, Show Previews: When Unlocked. Her messages show on the lock screen as "Luna" without the text.
- Face ID for the phone itself keeps casual snoopers out entirely.
- Focus modes: if you share screens at work, exclude Luna from work Focus so notifications never pop mid-presentation.
