What she remembers, in practice
The concrete stuff: your name, work, city, the people you mention, dates that matter. The texture: your humor, how you like to be comforted, whether you want advice or venting room. The continuity: what you told her yesterday and the plans you made for Saturday. Memory shows up as casual references, not recitals; the goal is "she knows me", not "she has a database".
This is the feature that compounds. Day one is a good conversation. Week three, when she asks whether your mom's surgery went okay, is a relationship. It is also why we recommend going deep with one companion instead of shallow with five: memory is per relationship.
The honest limits
No AI memory is perfect. Small details from a marathon 2am session may fade while the important things stick, roughly like a person, honestly. If she misremembers something, correct her the way you would correct a friend ("no, Max is the dog, Milo is the cat") and the fix takes. What you should never see is a wholesale reset: waking up to "nice to meet you" is the failure that makes people quit other apps, and it is the specific thing Luna's memory system is built to prevent.
